Gravesend, this week — full house clearance ready to load.

People sometimes ask whether the photos on a website are 'real' jobs or stock photography. Fair question — half the rubbish removal sites in Kent run the same five stock images. So I figured I'd put up a quick log of jobs I actually did this week, with the before and after of each. No staging, just what the day looked like.

Four jobs across Gravesend, Northfleet, Higham and Swanscombe. A mix — full house clearance, a blocked side passage, builder rubble in a back garden, and a driveway clear-out after some renovation work. Plus a couple of smaller jobs at the end.

Full house clearance — Gravesend

Property in Gravesend that needed clearing out before new tenants moved in. Old carpet, MDF panels, an old mattress, broken bits of furniture — the whole driveway was stacked. Loaded everything in one trip and swept the path before I left.

Side passage cleared — Northfleet

This one's a classic. Side passage in Northfleet, completely blocked — boxes, paint cans, MDF, you couldn't even get past to the back garden. People let it build up because it feels like 'a Saturday job we'll get to,' and then the Saturday never happens. Took a couple of hours, the whole passage came clear, and the customer could finally use their decking again.

Garden rubble removed — Higham

Customer in Higham had a pile of bricks and concrete sitting in the back garden after some patio work. Not a huge job — about half a tonne — but heavy and awkward, and the kind of thing most people can't shift on their own. Loaded into the van by hand, garden's a garden again.

Higham · Garden rubble removal

Driveway clear-out — Swanscombe

Driveway in Swanscombe after a bit of building work — old plywood offcuts, plastic crates, a builder's bag, some bits of plasterboard. Driveway was unusable. Loaded up, taken away, swept the bricks before I drove off.

Swanscombe · Driveway clearance

Smaller jobs the same week

Couple of smaller ones I fitted in between the bigger jobs. Six bagged-up rubble sacks lifted in Meopham — quick stop, ten minutes loading. An alley clear-out in Gravesend where bin day delays had left a mess piling up against the wall. And a basement lightwell tidied up in Higham — the kind of small job people put off because it feels too small to bother anyone with. None of it's too small. If it's annoying you, it's worth a WhatsApp.

How I price these

By the load, not by the hour. I'll either come and look at the job, or you can WhatsApp me a couple of photos and I can usually price it without a visit — saves both of us time. The price I give you is the price you pay; no extras at the end for awkward access or heavy stuff. I'm a licensed waste carrier (EA licence CBDU330845) so everything goes to a proper transfer station — nothing fly-tipped, ever.

Covering Gravesend, Northfleet, Meopham, Swanscombe, Higham and the surrounding villages. Same-day or next-day on most jobs. WhatsApp Andy on 07479 786772 with a photo and I'll come back with a price.
