Gravesend is my home patch — DA11 and DA12, from the riverside up to Singlewell and across to Riverview. I've been clearing houses, garages and gardens here for 10 years, so I know the side gates that need a key, the terrace streets where parking's tight, and the bungalow lofts that haven't been touched since the 1980s.

The housing stock around Old Road East and Parrock Street is mostly Victorian terraces — narrow hallways, steep stairs, small side returns. Out towards Singlewell it's post-war semis and bungalows with bigger gardens and garages. Down near The Quay there's a mix of converted flats. Most of my Gravesend work is bag runs, furniture pickups and post-clearance tidy-ups — but I also do a lot of full house clearances, often bereavement or probate jobs through the DA11 and DA12 streets.

Gravesham's Household Waste Recycling Centre is at Thames Way, DA11 — useful for small loads but limited to six visits a year per household for certain materials. For bigger loads, commercial waste, or anything that won't fit in a car, Andy fills that gap. Same-day in Gravesend is almost always possible — I'm usually 10 minutes away.
