RecentClearancesinGravesend—Before&After(May2026)
Three jobs from around Gravesend this week — a rental cleared for the letting agent, a forecourt piled with household bits, and a back yard full of old furniture and boards. Before, after, and what each one looked like on the day.

People ask if the photos on these pages are real jobs or stock. Fair question — half the clearance sites in Kent run the same handful of stock images. So here's another batch of jobs I actually did this week around Gravesend, with the before and after of each. Nothing staged.
Three worth showing — a rental property cleared for the letting agent, a forecourt full of household bits after a flat was emptied, and a back yard stacked with old furniture and boards.
Let-property clearance — Gravesend
First one was a rental in Gravesend — the letting agent (YOUR MOVE) needed the front cleared before new tenants moved in. A bit of everything: old shower panels, chipboard and plasterboard offcuts from a bathroom refit, a rolled-up carpet, and a stack of bags that had built up while the place stood empty. Loaded the lot and left the front tidy for the next viewing.

AfterForecourt household clearance — Gravesend
Next was a forecourt clear-out — a flat that had been emptied, with everything stacked out on the block paving ready to go. Bags of household stuff, a load of old paint tins, a kid's scooter, a metal plant stand, a box of empties for recycling. Sorted out what could be recycled, loaded the rest, and gave the slabs a sweep and a rinse before I left.

AfterBack-yard clearance — Gravesend
Last of the three was a back yard in Gravesend stacked with old furniture and timber — wardrobe carcasses that had come apart, a couple of internal doors, MDF and chipboard offcuts, the usual bits left behind after a clear-out. Heavy, awkward, and right at the back of the property. Carried it all out by hand, swept up, and the yard was usable again.

AfterHow I price these
By the load, not by the hour. I'll either come and look, or you can WhatsApp me a couple of photos and I can usually price it without a visit — saves us both time. The price I give you is the price you pay; no extras at the end for awkward access or heavy stuff. I'm a licensed waste carrier (EA licence CBDU330845), so everything goes to a proper transfer station — nothing fly-tipped, ever.
