House being done up — Gravesend
A terraced house in Gravesend getting a full refurb inside. Everything was coming out and piling up in the front garden — dozens of black bags, old skirting boards, bits of plasterboard and painted wood from the rooms they'd stripped. I cleared the whole lot off the front and swept up, so they had the space back and could carry on.

Driveway clear-out — Gravesend
A driveway in Gravesend stacked with everything left over after some work indoors — old boards and plasterboard, a broken barbecue, a clothes airer, an old cooker hood, rolls of carpet and a few bags. The driveway was unusable. Loaded it all in one go and gave the block paving a sweep before I left.

Old tree stump and roots out — Gravesend
A back garden in Gravesend where a tree had come down. I took away the stump, a big pile of roots, the soil that came up with it and some old rocks and rubble. Heavy going, and right down the end of the garden, so it all came out by hand. Left the ground clear and levelled off, ready for whatever they want to do with it next.

Overgrown hedge cut back — Gravesend
Cut an overgrown hedge right back at a place in Gravesend and took all the green waste away with me — filled a big garden bag and a load of sacks with the cuttings and branches. The cutting's the easy bit; it's finding room to get rid of it all that people get stuck on. I bag it, load it and leave the front clear.

Plenty of smaller bits between the bigger jobs — like this pile of old flooring, cardboard tubes and offcuts cleared from the side of a house in Gravesend. Nothing's too small; if it's in the way, it's worth a WhatsApp.
