Four Trade Waste Jobs Around Gravesend — A Kitchen, a Bath, Plaster and Carpet (September 2026)
A lot of September was trade waste — the stuff that comes out of a house when there's work going on inside. A whole kitchen on a front lawn, an old bath used as a skip, plaster bags on a pallet, a carpet fitter's underlay. Four off the sheet, before and after.

SITE NOTES
A lot of my work in September was trade waste — the stuff that comes out of a house when there's work going on inside. Kitchens, bathrooms, plaster, carpet. Builders and fitters ring me because I turn up when I say I will and the pile's gone before the next trade arrives. Homeowners in the middle of works ring for the same reason. Four from the sheet, before and after.
LOAD01/ 04
GRAVESEND AREA · KITCHEN RIP-OUT
Kitchen rip-out on the front lawn
The whole old kitchen came out onto the lawn — the built-in oven, the unit carcasses and doors, the sink still in its bit of worktop, two rolls of old carpet, a section of stair spindles, a futon frame and the bin bags to go with it. One load. Lawn clear, bin back where it lives, front of the house looking like a house again.

LOAD02/ 04
GRAVESEND AREA · BATHROOM RIP-OUT
An old bath full of plaster
Bathroom rip-out. The old bath had been used as the skip — plaster, cardboard, offcuts of pipe, tile board, empty cans — with more stacked round it on the front step and a pallet leaning on the railings. Bath and all went on the van. The white dust on the wall is the only thing that was left, and that washes off.

LOAD03/ 04
GRAVESEND AREA · PLASTER & RUBBLE BAGS
Plaster bags on a pallet
The leftovers from plastering work, stacked on a driveway — bags of old plaster and rubble on a pallet, a trug that had set solid, a box of bits and a rolled-up sheet. Heavy bags, so they go on two at a time. The pallet went too. Block paving swept and the drive's a drive again.

GRAVESEND AREA · CARPET & UNDERLAY
Carpet fitter's underlay
New carpets in, old underlay out — bales of it in plastic, the carpet offcuts and the cardboard tubes, stacked down the side of a new extension. Took the lot and left the gravel clean. The corner of my van in the shot is the only thing I added.

Homeowners in the middle of works, same thing: WhatsApp me a photo of the pile. I'm EA-licensed, CBDU330845, every load goes to a proper transfer station, and you can have a copy of the waste transfer note if you need one for the job file.
